(I)  Dyeing uniformity inspection

Dyeing M rate: The current method for determining DTY dyeing uniformity is to weave the silk of 

each DTY winding bobbin into a 5cm long garter, and the DTY produced by each stretching and 

texturing machine into a sock tube. Several sections of standard DTY with normal dyeing are sandwiched 

in the middle, dyed with disperse dyes, and then judged under standard light sources. GB250-1995 

standard stipulates that gray cards are used for color judgment, divided into 5 levels and 9 grades. 

Any color difference with the standard of more than 4 levels is a first-class product.

The types of abnormal dyeing are dark and light colors, horizontal striped silk and transparent silk. 

Dark and light colors are darker or lighter than standard silk. Horizontal striped silk refers to the color 

difference of stripes on the same sample itself; transparent silk refers to the shiny surface of the fabric, 

the fabric feels very thin when touched by hand, and it is more transparent than normal silk when placed

 in front of the light source.

The causes are generally:

The deformation was not timely and fully deformed during the deformation process;

The false twist is insufficient;

The POY raw material and dark and light colors;

The temperature of the hot box of the texturing machine is different.

(II) Factors affecting the uniformity of DTY dyeing.

In summary, they can be divided into raw material quality and DTY stretching conditions:

The quality problems of raw materials are:

1. Fluctuations in wind speed, wind temperature, and relative humidity of cooling air;

2. Poor uniformity of spinning melt and spinning temperature;

3. Poor uniformity of POY oiling;

4. Oil absorption on the surface of POY bobbin;

5. High unevenness of POY yarn;

DTY stretching problems:

1. Defects in winding;

2. Too little stripping time after dropping, and the surface silk is not stripped cleanly ;

3. Mechanical factors in DTY processing: such as damage and poor operation of each wire guide, 

wire path, and false twister;

4. Causes stiff wire and untwisted wire to have poor curling;

5. 30~50m of dark wire is produced at the tail wire joint

6. Abnormal DTY wire path, such as the wire running out of the normal wire path, and the empty 

operation of the winding bobbin after the wire is broken;

7. Improper selection of DTY processing conditions, such as fluctuation of false twist tension, too 

high D/Y ratio, too high or too low temperature of the hot box, etc.
