Since woven labels can be woven with yarns of various ingredients, they have different characteristics in terms 

of washability and temperature resistance. The most common ones are the brand labels on the clothes we wear 

every day, which are mostly woven with 100% polyester, with bright colors, washability, and no fading below 

160 degrees. The quality of polyester yarn is one of the elements that determine the quality of woven labels.

Polyester yarn for flat cloth labels:

The cloth structure is a simple warp and weft interwoven up and down, which is called a simple flat label. 

Generally speaking, the warp yarns are fixed, either black or white, so there are black flat and white flat. 

For light-colored background labels, white flat is generally used, and for dark-colored ones, black flat is 

generally used.

The pattern and color of the cloth label are mainly expressed by the weft yarn, and the colors expressed 

will be different due to the different effects of crossing with the warp yarn. Because general machines 

have restrictions on the types of weft yarns used, the colors that can be expressed are also limited, generally 

within 8 types.

improve the quality, there is also doubling the warp, which is a satin structure.

By doubling the warp, the texture of the fabric label becomes soft and smooth. Because the density is too 

high after doubling the warp, the weft cannot express the pattern well, and the bottom color cannot be 

made very flexible. Only through the post-processing can certain color requirements be shown. Whether 

a machine is set to make a flat surface or a satin surface is generally relatively fixed. The width of the 

trimmed satin generally cannot exceed 10CM, and the selvedge generally does not exceed 5.0CM.
